In honor of Autism Awareness Day, the ADR Section presents a dynamic 90-minute program exploring how neurodivergence intersects with legal practice and dispute resolution. This session offers a foundational understanding of autism and related conditions, practical insights into day-to-day behaviors, and strategies for mediators and attorneys working with neurodivergent individuals—whether as clients, colleagues, or co-counsel. Through real-world examples and inclusive design principles, participants will gain tools to foster accessibility, empathy, and professionalism in every legal encounter. Join us as we move toward a more inclusive justice system—one conversation at a time.
