CLE Series- TRAUMA: Its Impact on Cases and Clients

When trauma goes unrecognized, justice falls short. Trauma is often directly involved in a case. Trauma, even when not directly related to the case, often effects those involved in a case- your client, opposing party, opposing counsel, courts- even yourself. A deeper understanding of trauma can improve decision making and support reasonable, compassionate, effective resolutions. These principles apply across the board. Spectrum of cases- civil, probate, criminal, family, and juvenile- often in the ADR phase of a case. This webinar will address recognizing and understanding trauma, including PTSD, adverse childhood experiences, toxic stress, vicarious trauma, interpersonal violence (IPV), and resilience and wellness.
