(8375) Effective Bracketing for Settlement Agreements

April 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

$50

Don’t miss this all-new CLE on the use of brackets during mediation, presented by Cristina Magee, Brevard Mediation Services, and A. Michelle Jernigan, Upchurch, Watson, White & Max. Course number 8375 is approved for 1 CLE and 1 Civil Trial certification credit. ADR Section members register for only $50. All registrants have 90-day, on-demand access. REGISTER

You will learn what a bracket is, how one is constructed, and what messages brackets can convey to an opposing side. You will be introduced to which numbers to consider tracking in negotiation to determine if your message is coming through effectively and if not, how to correct course. The presenters will also spend time discussing when bracketing is not an effective tool in the negotiation process and what to use as an alternative.

If you have avoided using brackets in your settlement discussions or found them ineffective when suggested by a Mediator, consider attending this webinar.
